modelrailsim DCC Sniffer
A dongle the size of a matchbox, made in small batches. Two wires to your track, USB-C to your computer. It listens to every DCC command on the track, including the ones from your handset, and passes them to the simulator, so what you do on the real throttle happens on screen too. Works with any DCC system: NCE, Digitrax, Lenz, Roco, DCC-EX. Nothing to install: the simulator's Real controller card connects to it and loads its firmware over USB.
- Listens only, through an optocoupler: it can't harm your command station or decoders.
- Listening is one direction: handset to screen, on any system. For the other, screen to rails, pair it with the NCE USB Interface or a Digitrax PR4. Digitrax support lands before the dongle ships.
- Ready to use: plug in, press Connect sniffer, done.
