The sounds you hear and the locos and cars you see in 3D are other people's work, shared under licences that let us use them. Here is who made what.
Sounds
- Engine and bell: a pair of Canadian Pacific GP38-2s recorded by herkamur, released as CC0 (public domain).
- Horn: a Nathan K5LA recorded by LK LocoSound, on Freesound under CC BY 4.0.
- Couplings: recorded by WeenyBeany and KandiKlover on Freesound under CC BY 4.0.
The brake squeal, flange squeal and the clack of points are made in the simulator.
3D models
All from Sketchfab under CC BY 4.0. We compress each one for the web, scale it to the roster's length and repaint it in the colours you choose; the modelling is theirs.

Track
The track systems in the Layout editor are built from the makers' published catalogues: lengths, radii and part numbers, so a plan can be bought and built. The pieces are theirs; the drawings are ours.
